Show and Year End Awards
Oakland County Horse Shows are proud to offer High Point Awards at every show and Year End awards for its exhibitors.
Must register for year end awards by June 7th.





High Point Awards per Show:
Divisions
Adult (20 & over)
Senior (15-19)
Junior (8 – 14)
Walk Trot Adult (20 & over)
Walk trot 15-19
Walk trot 8-14
Classes Included for High Point: Showmanship, Equitation, Hunt Seat Pleasure, Horsemanship, Western Pleasure and Trail.
Mini (8-19)
Mini (20 & over)
Classes Included for High Point: Mini halter, fitting & showing, in-hand hunter, in-hand jumper, in-hand keg bending, in-hand trail.
Gymkhana
Adult
15-19
8- 14
Classes Included for High Point: Indiana Flag Race, Cloverleaf, Down & Back, Key Hole, Pole Bending, and Speed & Action

Year End High Point Information:
*Automatic entry to year end prizes
*Submit a separate form for each horse/rider.
*Invitation to year end award banquette
*Age based on January 1st, 2025
*Qualify for TOP 5 overall year-end high point (excludes adults)
*Award for Grand and Reserve High Point for each Division as selected by Awards Committee.
Gymkhana Jackpot Classes
Best overall time for each event shares the pot.
$12 to enter.
Both Adults & Youth are eligible
Classes include:
Cloverleaf, Indiana Flag Race, Key Hole, Figure 8 stakes, Pole Bending and Speed and Action Classes
Jackpot Calculation:
If 10 people pay $12, the pot equals $120.
The fastest time in each class, regardless of age, gets a portion of the pot.
For example, if every class has a unique rider with the fastest time, then the pot is split 6 ways and each rider gets $20. ($120/6)
If one rider has the top time in two classes, then they receive $40 and the remaining 4 riders each receive $20.

Must have shavings and be stripped prior leaving
